CFCF remixes Fever Ray’s ‘Keep The Streets Empty For Me’

In 2009, Fever Ray, the solo project of Karin Dreijer Andersson (one-half of The Knife), released its excellent self-titled debut. It’s a titillatingly haunting album that features dripping textures and Andersson’s unmistakably enigmatic vocals. Producer CFCF, better known for his role in the burgeoning ‘Night Bus’ scene, has gone back to 2009’s Fever Ray in an attempt to reinterpret the standout “Keep The Streets Empty For Me”. Night Bus, which is more-or-less a genre, is characterized by slow, churned, and syrupy mixes and samples. (It’s like dance music after about 10 bottles of Dayquil.) Check out the swarthy remix here.
