As is the case with most lists, there are bound to be certain things that don’t make the cut, but certainly deserve recognition. This year was especially hard given the wide-ranging sounds that made up 2011. But as a form of appreciation, we’ve compiled a list of ten albums that didn’t quite make the Top 30, but deserve acknowledgement for their quality and/or forward-thinking development.
