Pretty Flacko by ASAP Rocky
After having a very successful 2011 (happy New Year’s Day, by the way!), New York’s ASAP Rocky has set himself up as one of the premier rappers currently bubbling his way to the surface, thanks in large part to a multimillion dollar contract and a killer mixtape. But it seems as though ASAP Rocky and his ASAP crew are taking no breaks as a new song recently surfaced at a Miami concert last week. Thankfully, ASAP Rocky and producer SpaceGhostPurrp went into the studio to complete the cheekily-named “Pretty Flacko”. Here, SpaceGhostPurrp’s drowsy and menacing production takes the forefront, but don’t let that distract you from Rocky’s verses, which are bursting with shrewd lines through crooked grins: “Bad bitches? Man, I got those/ And those Rolexes? Man, I rock those/ And I pop hoes/ Got a drop nose with a snot nose/ In my condo/ Whoa.”
