Listen: “Saint Nothing” by Daniel Rossen
Daniel Rossen, guitarist/vocalist of Grizzly Bear, is set to release a solo EP entitled Silent Hour/Golden Mile. Out March 19, the baroque-pop genius’ new work serves as a means of “[…] Getting my legs back,” according to Rossen. The piano-driven track swirls in alluring and ornate instrumentation and a build-up that Grizzly Bear fans will find familiar. With poignant lyricism (“Your voice so strong/ speaks through the glass/ speaks through the ground”) and an elegant melody, “Saint Nothing” points to a promising collection of songs.
